This is not sanctioned by either Marvel or DC. And this will probably never ever happen on film. So enjoy this amazing piece of animation. Part 1 is shorter but available to view on YouTube. This is Part 2 and longer.
Thanks to Rob Dimension for bringing this to my attention
I am sadly underwhelmed by The Avengers Trailer. The Trailer is living up to the “Wha??” that was inspired by EW’s cover featuring Zoobanner and his Green Steel look of shame.
I’m still fuzzy as to how Loki, who had his ass handed to him by Thor alone would need to have the entire Avengers crew on hand to stop him this time. I’m fairly sure there are other bad guys he’s alligned himself to. But I would say I’d have loved to have seen Galactus in this as freaking Galactus and not a big smoke monster taking on the gang.
I had expected more from Boss Joss. I just…don’t like what I’m seeing here. It’s not horrible but it’s not the epic OMG I’M IN GEEKGASM from seeing it. Maybe I’m still sore about Norton not being Banner. I don’t know…It just feels off.
Anyhoo…I do have to say I like this. It’s probably one of the best CG Hulks so far and actually looks like The Ruff. But from the feel of this trailer, he’s gonna be held off being seen in his smashing glory till the end of the movie.
TheWrap.com has the first shot of the Henry Cavill as The Man of Steel…and I have to say I’m not yet impressed.
His hair looks like one of those fake rubber Elvis wigs from this picture. The costume looks like its made from lizard scale (and a lot like the redesign for Spiderman.) The capes nice though, and that’s important (and not surprising coming from Zack Snyder, he of the flowing Spartan Red.)
I’ll give this a shot though, as Snyder brought to life Watchmen and gave us one of the best comic book movies of all time.
Some great voice talent in this, not to mention amazing animation. If this is on par with the awesome that was the Superman release you can be assured it will blow your mind.
DC has managed to out do Marvel on their direct to DVD films by keeping them in line with the darker material and not dumbing them down. Marvel needs to take some pointers from them and try for a change.
BD heads up once again for the news that Dark Horse is giving away their Free Comic Book Day comics (which you had to be as fast as a ninja to nab at most stores) as a free download starting tomorrow on your mobile device.
This is awesome as it includes Cal McDonald, Clone Wars, and more. Booya Dark Horse!
Adrianne Palicki is the new Wonder Woman to star in the pilot of the same name that will try and take up the fallen Heroes banner on NBC.
Newsrama is reporting the just announced story. Palicki is no stranger to genre television, and although I still think no one can replace Lynda Carter, she’ll do if they unblonde her hair.
The big rumor which really isn’t a rumor (can it be more vague?) is that Marion Cotillard is actually in talks to co-star in The Dark Knight Rises. LatinoReview is reporting that her reps have confirmed she’s in talks, but hasn’t signed.
I’m not sure who I could see her playing since Catwoman is in the claws of Hathaway. Thoughts?
MTV (I’m not sure why) got the exclusive first peek of the new line of The Walking Dead inspired figures.
These are pretty nice, but I’m going to save my squeeing for shirtless Rick Grimes toy. Which it looks like Rick is in the first wave of toys, and the second. And we also get the Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus!!) figure (possibly with dead squirrels?)
considering tweeting @twhiddleston and telling him how awesome he is in Avengers, but how to describe the magnitude of the awesome.. hm -Ren 3 days ago
Tom Hiddleston said Vampire. O_O Fangirls ears hear everything that has the V word in it. This sounds promising :] -Ren 3 days ago
very excited about new Fangirl website. it won't look new to anyone who's seen it already, it's new on the inside! http://t.co/sHDUTgAs -Ren 4 days ago
