We get to see that Blackbeard doesn’t mind using his own daughter to get what he wants. And what’s with the little Jack voodoo doll. 2 weeks away for those NOT at Disneyland last night (I’m not bitter…no not me)

Instead of Will and Elizabeth, the doomed romance of this piece seems to be a young lad and a mermaid.

Here is quite possibly one of the coolest, most badass things I’ve ever seen the movies inspire.

EPIC MOVIE IS EPIC

Thanks to Cinemablend we’ve got a look at the first images from POTC 4.  And yes, there is Ian McShane looking awesome as Blackbeard.  And I must say, Penlope Cruz looks a bit o’ alright as a pirate.  As long as she doesn’t make me want to cut my wrists I’ll be okay. 

Word is a trailer should be making the rounds in the next week or so, and most likely will be attached to Tron Legacy (dare we hope for it in 3D?)  The movie officially hits screens in May of next yar.

Jack Sparrow showed up at the Disney Panel at Comicon to talk (drunkenly) about the new POTC film.
